Dr. Ricardo Gauthier
Dr. Ricardo Gauthier completed his undergraduate training in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Florida in Gainesville in 1998. Later he went on to earn his Doctorate of Audiology at the University of Florida College of Health Professions in 2002. Dr. Gauthier completed his residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Bay Pines, St. Petersburgh Florida before coming to Charlotte county. Dr. Gauthier's field of interest includes hearing assessment, digital hearing aid technology and vestibular diagnostics. His professional affiliations include the American Academy of Audiology and the Florida Academy of Audiology. He serves on the Board of Directors of Murdock Rotary Club, for over 13 years. He is very passionately involved in Hope of Hearing Haiti, a humanitarian organization of audiologists and speech language pathologists who donate their time and services to improve the communication and quality of the hearing-impaired children in Haiti. Dr. Gauthier's wife is a speech-language pathologist, and together they are raising two very active boys.
Office Manager/Audiology Assistant
Renee joined Harbor Audiology in 2008. She relocated to beautiful Punta Gorda, FL from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Renee and her husband and two growing sons enjoy the great outdoors and spending time fishing and boating. Her duties include scheduling, maintaining and coordinating patient care, as well as providing information patient on assistive listening devices and local support organizations. Renee is also trained as a licensed audiologist assistant, allowing her to work with patients and hearing instruments.
